Finding tips

There are many ways to browse the useful tips here on Untape. Here's a few pointers to help you find the tips you're looking for.

Searching
One of the fastest and easiest ways to find tips is to use our handy find a tip page. Simply click the magnifying glass icon along the top edge of the screen, beside the words 'find a tip'.

On the find a tip page, you'll find a search bar prompting you to enter some keywords. Clicking inside the search bar will let you type any search words you want, just as though you were using the popular yahoo! or google search tools you're probably used to.

For example, if you want to find untape tips related to schools, you might type 'school' into the search bar and press enter. After a few seconds you'll see all the tips that mention the word 'school' on the entire untape site. If you want to find something more specific, like tips about high school or school districts, refine your search by typing 'high school' or 'school district'.

If you're having trouble getting the right results, try refining your search by adding, removing, or changing some of your keywords. With any luck, you'll find what you're looking for.

Browsing
Another handy way to look for tips is to use the 'Explore Tips' block in the left sidebar. From this block, you can browse tips on the site by category, organization, date or topic. You can also find the tips that user like the most by browsing our Favorite tips.
